Update

Effective with orders placed from now on, the Ball Loop Kits have been increased to have loop parts for 5 Tennis Balls. The Tennis Balls are not included.

A new Tennis Ball Safety Holder has been added to the Catalog and will be included in super kits. This tube holds the ball while you work on it, protecting your hand against slipping with a knife or awl.

The various Super Kits have been adjusted to include the new Tennis Ball Safety Holding Tool, and a Ball Loop Kit will be included with loop components for 5 Tennis Balls. The Tennis Balls and sand are not included. The pre-prepared launch balls have been deleted from the kits. Pre-prepared balls continue to be available in the pre-assembled launchers and as an accessory.

Progress and Pacificon, New Photo Album

We completed the batch of parts this weekend, and several launchers were built. We are shipping some this week, and more after Pacificon. This next weekend is Pacificon, and that is going to take our time for the rest of the week and over the weekend. If you are at Pacificon, come by and say hi. We’ll be at the Buddipole booth most of the time with some launchers…

We set up a photo album on our Field Day gallery. Later we’ll set up a separate gallery, but for now this allows us to quickly put photos up. We made a pass through the photo collection and put up a few already. Some are old, many are new. One in particular that was recently requested is a photo layout of the parts in assembly relationship, rather like an exploded drawing.

New Safety Tool

We have a NEW Safety Tool – the Ball Holding tool facilitates preparing Tennis Balls for Launch service. This PVC ring prevents minor slips from leading to hand injury when altering Tennis Balls for Launch use. This tool is included in the new Super Kits. See the Launcher Accessories section of the Online Catalog to order one separately.
