Currently we are crunching through the backlog of orders. It is taking longer than originally expected, but things are moving along. About 2/3 of them are already shipped, and at the current rate we will be through them before Field Day. I was hoping to do another batch before FD but that is unlikely at this point. We’ve reached the end of the first quarter and we have started shipping orders from this large batch, but we have not been able to complete them all yet as was our goal. That will take a few more weeks. The 3d printer is quiet and we have piles of machined parts, but there is more final touches, packing, assembling, quality control and shipping to do. We will not sacrifice quality to rush this.

In December we opened the online ordering page (marked things back in stock) and notified our interest list and we received a flood of orders for this first quarter of 2023. Now we are knee-deep in parts and making preparations to ship about 6 months of production packed into 3 months. Kits will go first, then we will ship as items are ready. We are having a problem with one vendor changed component which requires additional testing and possibly a modification to insure that it meets our performance requirements. We may open the ordering window briefly in April for one more batch to go out by Field Day near the end of June. Make sure you are on our interest list if you wish to be notified. This next batch will be smaller to fit the available time window.
